Simple Ways to Be Healthier Today

Getting healthier doesn’t have to mean that you need a huge complicated plan and lots of time to prepare for implementing your plan. There are simple ways to be healthier that you can start right now, without any prep or too much effort. Keep reading if you want to know how to live a better life without all the hassle.

Things to Start Doing Today

  • Drink at least 64 oz. of water each day
  • Get 7-9 hours of sleep each night
  • Move your body within each hour of the day for at least 5 minutes
  • Exercise at moderate intensity for at least 30 minutes per day
  • Eat at least 2 servings of fruits
  • Eat at least 3 servings of vegetables
  • Think of at least 3 things you are grateful for
  • Write down 3 things you love about yourself
  • Eat less than 25 grams of added sugar
  • Take at least 5 minutes to do some deep breathing
  • Eat without distraction and savor each bite
  • Remind yourself that you are worth the effort that you put in

Initially when someone tells you to start doing twelve new things each day, it might seem overwhelming. But, when those 12 things are so simple it really doesn’t have to be. You might even already be doing some of the things listed above. If you look at the list and still think it might be too much, just start with a couple of them and add more over time.
